Diethylene Glycol Monoethyl Ether has low setting point and low viscocity at low temperature so it is used in manufacturing Brake Fluid. Ethyl Diglycol is used as a flow and gloss promoter in paint industries. The extendability of solution has also increased. Ethyl Carbitol is used in production of printing ink and as a cleaner in offset printing.
Diethylene Glycol Monoethyl Ether is used in textile as a solvent for dyestuff in the printing and dying of fiber & fabrics. Ethyl Diglycol prevents the gel formation in liquid detergent and cleaner formulation. Diethylene Glycol Monoethyl Ether is also used a solubilizer in drilling and cutting coolants.
